Cave Springs was part of a new development in 1983. The overall design of the office space, ATM and drive-up was all done internally. The drive-up was especially challenging as it had to go around the back of the entire strip. It was the first outside drive-up ATM for us. Cave Springs was also the first to have “real” teller lines. Originally (at Creve Coeur and North County), there were simply counters where the tellers would work. “Tellers” weren’t a reality until 1979 when checking (share draft) accounts came into existence.
